Types of IA Events

Partner with the IA on our calendar of roundtables, forums, briefings, conferences, and flagship events

The Investment Association run c. 40 events each year covering crucial industry topics including ESG, financial crime, innovation, operational resilience, culture, and more. Our events range from member-only CEO roundtables to flagship events such as our annual conference and annual dinner, that attract hundreds of attendees.

We are always delighted to partner with IA members who are able to host, sponsor, and/or participate in our events.

Roundtable

Size: c. 20-30 attendees

Duration: 60-90 minutes

About: Bring together specific role profiles to discuss and collate views on specific industry topics

briefing

Size: c. 60-90 attendees

Duration: 2 hours

About: Cover a specific industry topic and include speeches and panel sessions

forum

Size: c. 80-100 attendees

Duration: Half day

About: Cover multiple topics for an industry area e.g. financial crime. They include various speeches, fireside chats, and panels

conference

Size: c. 100-300 attendees

Duration: Full day

About: Our largest events that deep dive into an industry topic with a wide variety of presentation formats
