The new academic year has started at speed, with bookings from schools, colleges and universities coming in thick and fast. This is the first academic year start since 2019 that all students have returned to education on a face-to-face basis across the UK. The Investment20/20 Careers and Talent team love being in the classroom and engaging directly with young people, so this is a welcome return for us!
Workplace visits were on the rise last academic year, and we had lots of fun welcoming students from a wide range of schools and colleges across London and Essex into Investment20/20 member firms. This incredibly important activity enables young people to see behind the scenes and network with people working in the sector. Workplace visits remain an integral part of our offer for the new academic year, in addition to a redefined programme of expert masterclasses and workshops which includes:
- Exploring careers in investment management
- The role of technology in investment management
- Investing to improve climate change
- Preparing for the recruitment process
