Scotland's Young Person's Guarantee

Investment20/20 is now a signatory of the Young Person’s Guarantee, working with the Scottish Government to ensure young people have access to the investment management sector. This forms part of our extensive careers and education outreach provision, enabling the sector to access a pool of untapped talent in Scotland and to support young people from non-traditional routes into a career in investment management.

The Scottish Government scheme aims to connect every 16 to 24 year old in the region to an opportunity – be it a job, an apprenticeship, further or higher education, training or volunteering. By bringing employers, partners and young people together, the programme aims to connect the right opportunities with the young people who need them the most.

To support our members in Scotland to become signatories of the Young Person’s Guarantee, we are hosting a webinar with Scottish Government in the coming months. Members will not be required to deliver more just to continue to support our outreach and offer accessible entry jobs.

In a recent press release to the Scottish media, we were pleased to secure a quote from Jamie Hepburn MSP, Minister for Higher Education and Further Education, Youth Employment and Training:
