Many of our trainees are coming to the end of the trainee programme, having started in the autumn. Through the Investment20/20 programme, they have received a range of professional development opportunities to enhance their industry knowledge, expand their soft and technical skills and build that all important network.

We support our trainees and apprentices at this pivotal point with dedicated sessions on developing the skills to manage the next steps in their career. Delivered by Jo Lee from The Coach Collective, trainees look at how to manage their career progression and how to take ownership of their ongoing professional development in line with their goals.

The Investment20/20 programme has proved a great success in supporting the next generation of industry professionals with 97% of alumni progressing onto positive destinations into work and education on completion of the programme, with 83% moving into permanent roles in the sector.

I really liked how interactive and practical the Presentation Skills session was, we were given opportunities to practice presenting and get individual feedback on our delivery, body language and pace. I was able to apply the skills I learned the following day in a meeting I had to present in, which I felt more prepared for after this session.
